​BARRIE’S BIRTHDAY BASH.

​Kirriemuir celebrates one of her most famous sons
with the J.M.Barrie Literary Society. ​

​Celebrate our 1st birthday and Barrie's 158th. 
Our affiliate members welcome you as follows:

The Gateway to the Glens Museum (Angus Alive) is open from 10am till 5pm on the day, with a Barrie exhibition – including the ‘Freedom Casket’.  Presentation of ‘Echoes of the War Resource Pack’ at 10.30am.

The Barrie Birthplace will be open for
J.M.Barrie Literary Society members and will host the launch of
Anon: the J.M.Barrie Journal
at 11.30am
to be followed by a Picnic on Kirrie Hill
(or eat in one of the local restaurants/cafes)

‘Would you like an adventure now, or do you want to have your tea first?’

Join us at 3pm at Barrie Pavilion/Camera Obscura for
Barrie’s Birthday Party, including the launch of new Society Publications. 
It’s a chance to meet up with old friends and new and share some stories.  
All welcome, members and non-members.

​ALL EVENTS FREE, DONATIONS WELCOMED.
